My Last Sunday

Today is my last Sunday in Costa Rica and I decided to spend it celebrating the Leadership Team. These youth dilligently serve Christ and His church and deserve all the thanks I can give.



Earlier in the week, I picked up a Pinata. The kids did really well destroying Elmo.





I took this opportunity to take a TON of pictures with these special kids. Here are a few of the fun shots we took throughout the day...












This last photo is of Sugeylly. She had her 15th birthday (Quincenera) a couple of weeks ago and I put together this photo album for her. She loved it and all of the kids had a great time looking through it and seeing pictures of themselves...

    If I were a kid I would LOVE for the chance to beat the snot out of Elmo!! (If I were a kid, of course.. :)

    Sugeylly's photo album is beautiful - what a compliment for such a Costa Rican princess! Great Great idea there.

    Wrapping this thing up must so bittersweet... I can see it their faces and yours. Wow. Well done Conway.

    WOW. AGAIN, GREAT PICTURES TELLING A STORY OF HOW MUCH THESE KIDS LIKE HAVING YOU WITH THEM IN COSTA RICA. SO COOL.

    Mike,
    Elmo...yeah he is pretty ugly. It brings tears to my eyes to have made Sugelly so happy. Although she is new to the leadership team, (after our team in December) she is a true blessing to both my life and the ministry. I would consider her my family. Bitter...No way!!! I will be returning!!! The love, willingness to serve, and hard working attitude to serve is always there. These kids are much more than a "mission's" trip. The relationship's built are something much more, they are something that is eternal. How exciting!!!
